Conference Highlights — OMEP Ireland 2018
Our annual conference will take place in November, 2019. Details to follow. For enquiries regarding presenting please contact info@omepireland.ie
Our keynote speakers this year were Dr. Sylvia C. Chard (The Project Approach) and Lyndsey Hellyn & Stephanie Bennett — co-founders of The Curiosity Approach™. It was an exciting conference packed with practice-based and academic research! However, it was the ECCE professionals in attendance who made it a day to remember! Here are a few highlights, in pictures, from the conference!

The Curiosity Approach is a modern day approach to Early Childhood. Taking parts from Reggio, Steiner, Te Whāriki with a sprinkle of Montessori. Hear a snippet of the talk from the co-founders of this approach at the OMEP Ireland 2018 conference.
“Together with active learning is first had experience…it is important for us in schools to introduce the real world to them.” Children should “want to be investigating…their learning should be relative to them and have meaning for them.” A fantastic talk by one of our Keynotes, Dr Sylvia Chard (The Project approach).
